Dublin Basque Festival presents Basque current events and culture

The Dublin Basque Solidarity Committee presents the Second Dublin Basque Solidarity Festival -- slices of the history, culture and political struggle of this small nation in Europe.

Basque folk music & song group Ibili Taberna perform Basque and other songs, videos and exhibition show different aspects of Basque life: traditional sports, prisoner solidarity demonstrations, repression and resistance, food, festivals, Basque solidarity with other struggles, militant trade unions; speaker from the Basque Country speaks on their struggle; Basque merchandise table; etc.

4pm .......... Open ...... Exhibition, food, drink, videos, recorded music, stall

7.00 – 8.00pm ......... Speaker from the Basque Country: Talk & presentation

8.00– 9.30pm .......... Basque folk singers and musicians

9.30pm (10pm) ....... Basque modern music recordings
