Trade union militancy in the 21st century:
'The National Union of Journalists is demanding withdrawal of the redundancy notices and at the rally Irish Secretary Séamus Dooley announced that the union has written to chief executive of the Labour Relations Commission Kieran Mulvey seeking an urgent Rights Commissioner hearing into the collective redundancies.'
We very politely asked the Red Cross if they would have an urgent word with the bombers about the bombs they were dropping on us and if they could set up a tribunal about this disturbing behaviour, the findings of which we will accept in advance.
It's funny to see and hear Ken Murray speaking on the video. As a political correspondent for INN for many years, you'd think his voice and face would be familiar from RTÉ.
Consider how familiar the likes Fionnán Sheehan and other Independent News and Media hacks are. It's hard to see how RTE programmes like Pat Kenny's radio show and Drivetime, or the Week in Politics on TV could survive without constant contributions from INM journalists at this stage.
Yet, as far as I know, Ken Murray has NEVER been on RTÉ.
Good video by the way. Should be on the front page.
